Easter Bizarro

"excellent"

Representativeness aside it's pretty good. Nice rhythm, and I like the over all atmosphere.

Guitar Funk Loop

"not bad"

submission: Guitar Funk Loop

there are one or two places where a note seems out of time. But at least you're putting effort into recording instead of using synth programs like two thirds of the site.
Keep it up, good luck.

Thank you NeverHundred. I'll keep that in mind. :D

"Not bad"

date: April 13, 2009

It's really good. It doesn't seem like anything new or different though. Just another trance song... but I'm going to assume that's what you're going for because it's pretty much perfect as far as trance goes. I suppose it's best to stick with what works and not take the risks... well, for some people I suppose.

Author's Response:

You are true, but I am gladly able to accept changes in my song. Altough it might be rather the same for you (nothing new). I'll be sure to put my own twists in my next tracks. I apreciate the review, altough I cannot understand your 10/10 here, it's nothing new, but also perfect at the same time? Yeah well, I'll keep it in mind.
Thanks!

The Journey Within

"one thing bothered me."

submission: The Journey Within
date: April 11, 2009

There was some places in the song were the flute sounded a little off to me. I suppose the first time I really noticed was at 1:50. But now that that's over with let's move on the the praise.

The into was fairly interesting, building up with just the right momentum. I liked the marching beat and most of the orchestral bits. Overall it was quite good.

April 13, 2009

Author's Response:

Hmmm....Not sure why the flute sounds off to you. You are the first person who really thought that. There is definitely a lot of dissonance, which was intended to create tension and release. Maybe that is what you are hearing.

Thanks for the review.

"I think it's pretty good."

Personally I think it's fine. Maybe the bass could have a deeper sound to it though.

I the recording is a bit harsh and it doesn't take long before it gets on my nerves.

"I liked it"

date: February 22, 2009

I like peoples work with samples. You have a pretty good mix here. And I don't agree with the last poster who said it wasn't dance, people can dance to break beat, I could dance to this. See, I'm dancing right now... well, if you could see me that's what I'd be doing right now. It's good music, people can dance to it and it's interesting and enjoyable to listen to and really that's all that matters.

Paradoxial March

"surprising"

submission: Paradoxial March
date: February 22, 2009

Not a fan of bangy dramatic pianos. But this wasn't that bad. Being a marching song it does have that marching quality that everyone seems to love, including myself admittedly. Though about 1:07 into it, that was pretty good. Can't find much to complain about.

Author's Response:

Well I'm glad you enjoyed it bud! Even if it isn't your "cup of tea" exactly. :-)

Thanks for the review and high score. It is appreciated!

"good stuff"

submission: Acataphasia_
date: February 22, 2009

You have the sort of bango/tribal drums opening, not sure what they're called but it gets my attention. Than the bass is really spectacular. The light but groovy organ was alright, trippy psychedelic synthesizers a funky beat. This song has everything I love, and more! how could i not give it a five?

"eh, not so much"

submission: Newt versus
date: February 22, 2009

I really wasn't digging the rhythm for some reason. I don't know i usually like marching rhythms to, but maybe it was the beat samples you used. Seemed repeatative at times and I didn't really like the opening melody. But it get's a bit better later on in the song.
