It's like... I'm sitting there with these glasses in front of me. and I'm bored and I like noise so I hit one with a pencil or pen or whatever. And it goes TING and I hit another and it goes TANG, and I can tell there is a differance in pitch so i get my guitar tuner out and find out what the notes are.
Before you know it I'm working on a song.
