electric guitars

I first heard this without the electric guitar and I felt it could stand alone as it was. But the lead guitar element certainly adds an interesting element. I would say it works.

what...

I guess it deserves points for creativity, but it sounds like you're just experimenting with various effects. Also I can't help but fear for the cat... sounds like it's about to get eaten or something.

AccountableMasses responds:

pretty much the idea..

alright

I guess for an early experiment it's not bad, but I am far from impressed. The beat is pretty good and the phaser effects spice it up... but what this has in style it is seriously lacking in substance.

Challenge yourself!!!

Samane responds:

yeah there is no melody or bass line...it's just percussions
Thx for the comment

I liked it.

Melodically it's alright, not great... The chord progressions kind of odd, but than again it's better to be odd than cliche. There was one melodic part that stood out, the bells that came in at two and a half minutes, I really digged those.

I focus on the chord progression and melody because the beat is great. There is nothing bad to say about the beat through out the song. It's all good, purely headnodic. As in I was nodding my head in agreement to the rhythm.

I luaghed

I liked the choo choo. Everyone knows that out of all the modes of transportation trains are like third... only battleships and bomber planes are more metal than trains.

Screch responds:

There should be a song called Battleships and Bomber planes

it has a ring to it, ya know?

I like it

I mean it's not the greatest thing to ever be shat out, but it's got nice syncopation, some cool melodies. It's not bad, a little bland... and maybe you should have had a bit more than just "Rocket Camera" to say.

tunnel visioned guitarist

The guitarists is amazingly good. But as much as I'd like to praise his guitar skills, criticism is worth more than praise. Unfortunately as with most musicians that focus and excel in one instrument, they have this problem where they get tunnel vision, and when they compose and produce a song the only thing they hear or work with is their favored instrument.

What we have here is a classic case of that. I mean the guitar part can carry this song, but it would be greatly improved if there had been more thought put into the other instruments there. Maybe a bit more syncopation.

enjoyable

A great rhythm. And bold move with the piano melody, it takes risks, it sounds different and it still kicks ass.

SkatingIsGenetic responds:

Haha, wow. Thanks a lot.

Glad you enjoyed it. ^^

This isn't bad.

No not bad at all. The energy, the power... you have it. Use it well.

I like it

Liked the beat, liked the bassline and liked the atmosphere. It seems to suffer from a stationary hook complex, but I guess the changes in sounds and in the beat keep that from being too big an issue.

It works out great.

Box-Killa responds:

Aww thanks man :D Yeah I try to make sure just something changes every so often :D
