Well this is a very charming track. Although the guitar is a bit sloppy at times it makes up for it in other arias.

There are a lot of parts of this song that sound really good on there own but while combined they seem to clash a little bit. I really liked the beat, the melodies were cool great too, but some of them didn't fit the beat rhythmically and others kind of sounded out of place in the song, but than when you peeled a part of the song away and I heard a melody on it's own it sounded fine.

kind of dull at first. liked the appragio part that comes in, not sure about the rest of the song though. What kind of scale are you using? Chord progressions? Music thoery?
Eh, usic thoery has no laws, no rules... only a few loose guidelines. It's really relative and it seems a lot of people like what they've heard here.

Nice to hear from you.
I have no musical backings, just winging it.

Has a very Blizzard feel to it. Like the first Diablo, plus that bass reminds me of some of the Terran songs from Starcraft. It kind of has the best from both worlds and a little bit more, I like it.

not terribly exciting but I guess that's not what you're going for. It's an interesting melody. I'd reclassify it as ambient, it really isn't what most people would think of as trance but there is enough background noise for it to fit into ambient probably.
Author's Response:
Thanks for clearing up that genre misinterpretation for me. I'm not quite sure why I didn't see this as ambient.
Indeed, I did not wish for this to sound very exciting or riveting. It's merely more of a "cute" lullaby type of melody.
Thanks for your input!

It's pretty good, every now and again a chord sounds a little off, like it doesn't follow the chord progression or something. But it's not too noticeable, certainly not enough to ruin this great piece.

I suppose my problem with it is that it never really picks up, when it does it simply isn't enough given how long it takes to build up. The song seems like it's going to break out in many places but it always fails to satisfy.
There is nothing horribly wrong with the song, it just isn't all that exciting.

kk, thx for the response. I may have to go back and mess with it.

The song would have been pretty good with other synthesizers, probably would have been nice with guitar or anything else. It's a good melody, but the eight bit just makes it perfect. I gave it a five.

It has it's good parts and it's bad parts. It veries by the voices you used, I can see how people might not like how the rhythm gives a little skip every now and agian but I think it's kind of interesting. So like I said before, good parts and bad parts, but in my opinion it's mostly good.
