they gave me my own wiki article.... even though I haven't even done anything yet! This must be how President Obama felt when they gave him the Nobel Peace Prize.

So I have FL and Audicty on this computer, that's everything I use hen I make music. A program to record and a program to easily produce the music... and add drumlines and synth.

But I'm not sure this little computer can handle recording. I just don't know, last time I used a notebook for this it couldn't record shit. It kept phasing out, the quality of the recording was bad... and i don't mind if my recording quality isn't great, hell I'm using a nine dollar mike and a laptop I take what I can get, but there has to be a point where even I can't work with something.

Anyway I had a song I was working on, I should just upload it now since I'm not even sure I can record the lyrics for it. If I can manage to record lyrics I'll add them later. It's supposed to be a theme song to Last Laugh, the super hero/villain. But it specifically relates to This Last Laugh of York n Shartak... at least that's what the lyrics reference,

Anyway... LISTEN!!!

The overwhelming response to my new song...

This is also my favorite response to a song I've wrote... ever.

Me and my brother liked to discuss many things, one being philosophy. We'd argue about it, While I was a bit cynical he was always more idealistic and positive. I hope that's how most people remember him. As the upbeat optimist that he was.

That's all I'm going to say. I'm a man of few words. And other people want to speak. Also I can't think of anything else that's really necessary to say.

I'm in the mood for a portal rap, how 'bout you?

did you like that? Than perhaps you're ready for a little Star Trek Data rap.

My brother was found dead. Gunshot wound. Was just told that he was dead and that it was a gunshot, We don't even know if it was self inflicted or not. I feel bad because that is certainly a possibility. He had so much more to live for than me, He was smarter, more charismatic, wittier. The evidence seems to be very much toward suicide. I just can't believe it. He was twenty years old. He could have done anything. I just heard about this a half hour ago. I didn't cry until I wrote a message on his wall on facebook. I just sort of had to say goodbye.

Andrew Bird was my brother's favorite musician.

It was basically confirmed that it was suicide. The reason is likely to do with a girl. He shot himself in the heart. I still don't understand.

I made a facebook post and there was such a tremendous response from all his friends. I don't have many friends on there... but he does. He had a lot of friends in general. He was well liked, and every one of them, like myself, they leave posts along the lines of "RIP Jake", but also... they can't imagine how this could have happened. Jake was an optimistic person, he was positive and idealistic. He believed life was worth living, that's the impression I and everyone else got.

And here is the spiffy man now.

Brother

Folks, the suns atmosphere has expanded to engulf and destroy Mercury and Venus. Can we please start working on a huge spaceship? The oceans are boiling, the sky is deep red and everyone is complaining. I for one have had enough of this, does anyone have the box set for Deep Throat? The end is nigh and I am still a virgin. But we all saw that coming... or shall we say cumming. People are collapsing and melting into the sidewalk, buildings are being uprooted by lava and volcanic steam. Hopefully the seven eleven will still be open. This heat, makes me want to stop by there and buy on of those 99 cent Arizona Ice Tea cans. Perfect for an apocolyptic day like today.

you're on a quest. answer these questions:
What is your name?
Any name will do.
what is your primary weapon? A sword, a shield, a potion, a bag of tricks or a gauntlet.
What is your quest? Save the princess, find the grail, end the tyranny,.defeat the wizard or slay the dragon?
Who sent you? A God, a guild, a mentor, an ex lover or royalty.
And what is your favorite color? red, blue, magenta, cyan, orange, yellow, green, violet, indigo, black, white or gray.

I will accept answers in an order of every other person who answers, if not enough people give answers than I will double back. One doesn't necessarily have to choose from the lists given, but if an original answer is too out-landish than it will likely be ignored. Unless perhaps, it makes me laugh or it's creativity somehow makes sense.

Needs more responses. This isn't a one person show here.

All my real life friends are goin'. Garrett is packing his things, he's moving to Portland. Mike and James both signed up for an art college in Sante Fe, New Mexico. Brian and my sister are out near Seattle Washington, my brother is in Bridgton, up in Oxford County. Kyle joined the air force, you might recognize him but probably not. But he was sent to Austin Texas, I don't know, somewhere in Texas. Another person shipped to another training facility was Nate, he joined the navy. Somewhere in California now. David got married, and I'm not sure if he'll be sticking around here or if he'll move to New York eventually.

the only people left is Dan, who I met this year and I don't think we're really close. Jacob, who... I haven't seen in a while. And preponderantly Casey, the one I liked the least. Well, except for Andy, but... but he wasn't really in my group of friends. I don't know if he's still around. I rather hope not.

In high school it was Mike, Casey Jacob and I. And I would hang out with Mike and Jacob and avoid Casey as much as possible even though Mike and Jacob liked that guy. And Mike and Jacob didn't care for each others company but both would speak with me and Casey. It was evenly balanced in a sense. Garrett, David, Niel, Sean, Jimmy and an assortment of other people sort of made up the nucleus of the group. Those where a strange time.

But that was far in the past. Far in the past...

I changed my mind, this one is better.

This is undeniably the greatest rap song to ever exist.

.
/* */
And this is why today's rap music sucks, it obviously had no where to go but down.

Listen to this bassline... sound familiar?

.
/* */
Yup, this is the song that The Sugar Hill gang got there samples from, and This is how rap is related to disco kids.

We want the best, and we wont go home for less.
Don't be a drag Participate
Clams on the half shell
And roller-skates roller-skates roller-skates roller-skates roller-skates roller-skates roller-skates roller-skates roller-skates roller-skates roller-skates roller-skates ROLLER SKATES! You heard them, ROLLER FUCKIN' SKATES!!!

Now what? Something entirely different I suppose.

.
/* */
Now this is a rapper I like, I especially like these jazzy samples he chooses. I mean I like funk too, but jazz is a bit more classy? Wait would that mean classical music is more jazzy? That can't be right.
