Although the melody is simple and repeatative, it's still okay. But I've been jamming to a lot of eighties pop songs lately so if I say it's good than that really isn't saying much. As for the ending... it ended how it began, flaming.

Eighties pop songs?
Eighties?!

Repetitive but it is supposed to be a loop so I can't hold that agianst it. And since that's the only compliant than it's damn near perfect. It's kind of a laid back relaxing tune, great for a simple puzzle game.
Author's Response:
why thank you! I'm glad you liked it. i've always wished somebody would put my music is a semi popular game.

Pretty well put together. Sounds exactly like something I'd expect to hear from tropical themed side-scroller from the nineties or maybe a piratey puzzle game!
Author's Response:
Thank you :D Now all i need is a guy from some place to make a tropical game so it could contain this sunny piece of music :).

It's not bad at all. At first I was questioning why it was called Spooky, but I guess the second half of the song sort of has that quality, but the first part felt almost cheery.

There isn't enough to this song, but I really like the synth arrangement. maybe work more with this song, add more to it.

Firstly does the acoustic need to be as downtuned as it is? Some parts aren't that bad, the lead guitar starts out not too bad... but there are a lot of points where you play some notes that sound beyond out of place. Try staying in one scale.

great work. It sort of has a fast passed yet almost bluesy feel at times. You switched up your scales throughout the song didn't you?
Well, whatever you did it works.

I listened to the other song you uploaded recently and I had to check out more of your work. I'm not one of those people who uses that adjective lightly, this is really amazing. This song has such an easy flow to it. It seems like there is such an attention to detail, what makes this music so great is it's subtlety, although there is a lot going on it doesn't quite overwhelm as much as one would expect.
This is brilliant work.
Author's Response:
Wow, thanks... got me speechless for a minute there. :D
Some of my friends actually complain about the slowness of progress when I create something, 'cause of the details. I say there are things that need to ripen for a period of time before they can be pronounced good, or at least decent. Then there are others, that by definition are good because of their innate spontaneity, like grunge music or nature photography. This song started out as neither :)
Peace!

in a good way. It might start off iffy, but it really gets very good and it never gets boring or dull. It covers so much ground to, the way the energy just fluctuates so nicely and easily without it sounding the slightest bit out of place.

Thank you for your thoughts, esp. in the light of our styles differing. :) Peace!
